Google TV Streamer disappoints, as it doesn't support 4K 120Hz out of the box.
I received my Google Streamer this morning, plugged it in to a brand new HDMI 2.1, ran all the setup, and went straight to the settings to find out that the display resolution maxes out at 4k 60Hz. Why did Google bother including HDMI 2.1 support if they're not going to support 4K at 120Hz?

Plex integration in IPTV apps like Tivimate and iPlayTV is a future possibility.
In light of Plex recently announcing that they're opening up API access to the Plex Media Server, we could see Plex integration in our favorite streaming apps in the future, including TV launchers.
Empowering Developers with Open APIs for Plex Media Server
In addition to these updates, we are excited to announce that we will be kicking off a Plex developer program to expand the capabilities of Plex Media Server libraries and provide support for custom media types. This move empowers our developer community to create additional client applications, introduce innovative features, and support a wider array of media types on the Plex platform. Whether you’re interested in developing a new app for ebooks, podcasts, or even niche media types, open APIs will provide the tools you need to bring your ideas to life. This initiative is part of our broader goal to enhance the personal media experience and expand the capabilities of Plex. We believe that by inviting collaboration and innovation from our community, we can unlock new possibilities and continue to push the boundaries of what Plex can do.

Hey, guess what? Google just made Android 15 even cooler by finally introducing Desktop Windowing!
I've enabled this on my Pixel Tablet already; it works really well, even better with a mouse and keyboard. What's missing? For the Pixel Tablet, at least, it's being able to output to an external display.
